Back in May we revealed our Florence Dress Sewalong – and you didn’t disappoint us in sharing some brilliant photos of your dresses in progress. Congratulations to Jenny Smith (also known as Crafty sew and sew in Dorset) whose photo we picked to win the prize of £50 to splurge on fabric for her next creation. Apparently her 8-year-old took the photo – loving their photography skills too!
Thank you to everyone who took part in the sewalong. We also couldn’t resist giving an honorary mention to these two instagrammers: Emily Maust and Karina Trinidad. Thanks for sharing your pics, we loved them!

In case you missed it, the Florence dress was a two-part-pattern by Sew Over It which we featured in Simply Sewing magazine issue 30 and 31, or keep an eye out on Sew Over It’s pattern range as they’ll be releasing the pattern to buy individually later this year. Until then, you can still get your hands on copies in our online store.
