The Lizzy Dress sewing pattern

This shift dress sewing pattern’s simple construction, easy-to-wear shape and versatile style make it an all-year-round wardrobe staple. It’s easy to sew with a comfortable fit and comes in sizes 6 to 20. You’ll want to wear yours all year round.

Stylish chambray shift dresses are one of the most sought-after styles on the high street this summer, so why not sew your own? The Lizzy Dress pattern is a quintessential shift dress that can be worn casually with flats for an easy daytime look, or dressed up for the evening – it’s all down to how you style it and the fabric you make it in.

The easy dress sewing pattern is sized to fit standard UK dress sizes, from 6-20. The detailed instructions will take you through how to sew the unique neckband detail and facing and optional patch pockets, along with key dressmaking techniques such as sewing bust darts, adding sleeves, inserting an invisible zip and hemming the dress for a neat finish.
