Sizes: UK 6-28

■ Construct a simple dress
■ Sew neat darts
■ Make a waist tie (optional)
■ Add pockets (optional)

You will need:
Fabric: 115cm, 2.6 metres (We have calculated the amount based on the largest size on a narrow 115cm fabric. You may find that using a wider fabric and smaller size dress you may be able to use a smaller amount of fabric by altering the layout of the pattern pieces)
Pockets and belt if contrast: 115cm wide, 0.75cm (Again you may find that you can use a smaller amount if you are using a wider fabric)
Interfacing: 90cm wide 0.50cm
Basic sewing kit

Fabric suggestions: Lightweight cotton, cotton lawn, crepe de chine, georgette, corduroy, brocade, denim, poplin, jersey, ponte roma, polyester, satin, silk, tweed, linen.
