The Fold-up Tote Bag sewing pattern
Get this eco-friendly bag pattern with issue 55 of Simply Sewing magazine.
You will need:
- Outer fabric: 60x115cm (24x45in)
- Lining fabric: 60x115cm (24x45in)
- Firm interfacing: 28x46cm (11x18in)
- Iron-on wadding: 28x46cm (11x18in)
- Zip: 56cm (22in)
- Zip: 8cm (3in)
- Matching thread
The iron-on wadding we’ve used is Vlieseline H630. The firm interfacing used is Vlieseline Decovil I Light. We recommend using a heavy-duty zip for the long outer zip as it will be in frequent use and will need to be able to withstand strain.Skills:
